A brochure circulating the Freedom Rallies claims: 900 pilots from Virgin Australia can no longer fly because they now suffer from medical complications post-vaccination.
Is this true?
Well, no. Virgin Australia only has about 900 pilots in total. They culled quite a few during the ‘Administration’ process, lost a few more through the mandates and encouraged others to find greener pastures elsewhere with a battering to pay and conditions. They are certainly short of morale and pilots, but not 900 short.
Where did this information come from?
Several articles are floating around with the following quote:
Mr. Waters told the Defender that there are 900 pilots from Virgin Australia who can no longer fly because the now suffer from medical complications post-vaccination.

Mr Waters is an ex Virgin Australia Captain, terminated on the day he completed 20 years with the airline, 19 years as a captain. The articles refer to an interview he did with the Defender. The original quote, however, was:
Waters said of approximately 900 pilots flying with Virgin Australia, he is aware of nine who are no longer flying because of medical complications that could be linked to the vaccine.

The question remains. How many pilots in Virgin Australia, or Jetstar, or Qantas are unfit to fly due to medical conditions? And, how many of those medical conditions may have links to the long list of adverse reactions from the mandated vaccines?
How many do they KNOW about? How many DON’T they know about?
Former Deputy Chief Health Officer, Dr Nick Coatsworth said on Mornings with Neil Mitchell on 3AW:
We know that these vaccines can cause heart inflammation. I think we can all agree that heart inflammation is a serious consequence of having a vaccine and is not the same as other non Covid-19 vaccines. Are we mandating harm?

Dr Coatsworth was a special guest of Virgin Australia CEO, Jayne Hrdlicka providing advice for all employees to be vaccinated in accordance with the Virgin Australia Covid-19 Vaccine Policy.
At the time, a number of Virgin Australia pilots were already suffering heart inflammation.
Some have recovered enough to go back to work, and others may never fly again.
